Born in Central Finland in 1978, self-taught artist. Father of a new family, 4 children in the family.  As a child Hermanni always drew something. He wanted to learn more. Inspired by father's abstract painting, He decided to become an artist one day.

Hermanni started painting and made paintings and portraits as a teenager. He studied nursing in 2000 and considered art as a hobby. Father died at that time. 20 years passed, and life kept him busy with starting a family and raising a child.  Making a career in healthcare, psychiatry and service housing for the elderly.

 

The year 2020 came and Hermanni started painting again, got married and had a brainstroke on honeymoon at the Kylmäpihlaja lighthouse in Rauma. He spent seven months at home training himself back to normal life. He took and picked up a brush and painted away all past, frustrations and sorrows, and now that Hermanni survived the brainstroke, He began to see the most important things in life more deeply.

 

Hermanni became an artist.

 

"I see my art as a way to remove pain and sadness, to let go of fears and phobias. I also want to have fun while painting! I want to help and heal people with my art and convey care and love in every piece I make.

There are very strong emotions in my paintings. I want to feel every moment in life very strongly, I don't want to live life regretting that I didn't do, and I didn't try. I don't know any other way in life that takes away bad feelings than painting. "
